The Israel Electric Corporation today allocated 250,000 pounds ($83,000) for the initial research and survey work on the setting up of an atomic energy power station in Israel.
The decision was made at a meeting of the company’s board of directors, at which Development Minister Yosef Almogi presided. The Government, which holds shares in the corporation, is represented on the board.
