The Israeli legation here has announced that it will not hold a public reception on the fourth anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Israel–which this year falls on April 30–because of the strict austerity regime in effect in Israel. The announcement said that this policy will hold for all Israeli diplomatic missions throughout the world.
