Israeli emissaries of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency for Israel stationed in America sent a letter to agency chairman Avraham Burg expressing their concern over the effect the religious pluralism crisis is having on Israel-Diaspora relations. The “Israeli government and her nationalist agencies should act unequivocally against” the phenomenon of “physical violence, verbal threats and incitement against the Conservative and Reform movements in Israel,” they wrote.
