An Israeli expert will advise Puerto Rico on the development of its citrus culture, Roberto Ramos, an official of Puerto Rico’s Ministry of Agriculture, disclosed here today.
Mr. Ramos just concluded a month-long visit here at the head of an eight-member Puerto Rican agricultural mission which studied the possibilities of applying Israel agricultural methods to the development of the island. He said that the type of smallholders cooperative settlement would best suit Puerto Rican conditions.
