Israeli forces killed at least four Palestinians during anti-rocket operations in the northern Gaza Strip.
The air force and ground troops responded Sunday after Palestinian terrorists fired three rockets into Israel from the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun.
An airstrike killed three Palestinians whom military officials described as members of a rocket crew. Palestinian officials said the three were bystanders.
In a separate action, Israeli commandos killed an Islamic Jihad terrorist in the Beit Hanoun area. There were unconfirmed reports of more Palestinian casualties.
