Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. At least one of the men shot dead during Tuesday’s raid on the village of Beit Hanoun was a Fatah gunman, witnesses said. Israeli security sources confirmed an operation was under way in Beit Hanoun, which regularly is used by Palestinians to fire mortars and rockets over the nearby boundary into Israel.
