Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin. Monday night’s withdrawal from the Palestinian-controlled city was seen as a goodwill gesture to U.S. envoy Anthony Zinni, who arrived in the region earlier Monday. Israeli forces moved into six Palestinian cities on Oct. 18, a day after Palestinian terrorists killed Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze’evi.
