Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy is expected to travel to Jordan next week to discuss with King Abdullah efforts to revive Israeli-Syrian peace talks. Sources in the Foreign Ministry speculated that Levy would seek the monarch’s assistance in arranging a meeting between Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Syrian President Hafez Assad.
