Israeli Housing Minister Natan Sharansky was scheduled to meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage to discuss Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The meeting comes one day after a U.S.-led panel called for a freeze on all Israeli settlement construction.
