Israeli intelligence services reportedly fear that the Palestinian Authority is trying to incite riots on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount on Friday. According to Israel’s Ha’aretz newspaper, Israel fears that P.A. President Yasser Arafat’s attempts to highlight the renewed visits to the Temple Mount by Jews and other non-Muslim tourists — Arafat’s Fatah movement met Thursday to discuss the issue — presage riots during Muslim prayers on the mount on Friday.
