The Israeli and Jordanian energy ministers met this week to discuss joint projects, including the linkup of the two countries’ electricity grids.
Gonen Segev, Israeli energy minister, told Israel Radio on Thursday that low- voltage electricity lines had already been laid in Eilat up to the border, but that work on the Jordanian side had not yet been done.
He said he hoped that the work would be completed within three years.
