Israeli journalists, speaking collectively as members of their profession, added their voices last night to the rising tide of protest here and abroad against Poland’s current anti-Jewish campaign. The journalists, representing all political persuasions and factions, attended a protest meeting at Journalist House and adopted a resolution expressing deep concern over “the resurgence of anti-Semitism in a country which was the graveyard of many millions of the Jewish people.” Their resolution appealed to Polish leaders “and their subordinates in the Polish press” to desist from making Poland’s few surviving Jews the scapegoats for the country’s internal difficulties.”
