Israeli Knesset members Yossi Sarid of the Meretz Party and Yossi Beilin of the Labor Party are attempting to cancel a visit to Israel next month by Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. Tudjman played down Croatia’s responsibility during the Holocaust in the Croatian-language version of his book, “Wastelands of History.”
