Labor Minister Golda Myerson, speaking in the Knesset today, bitterly attacked opposition parties which she said had been taking advantage of the plight of the unemployed to stage anti-government demonstrations.
Mrs. Myerson revealed that 23,000 to 24,000 persons were registered for jobs with government labor exchanges scattered throughout the country. These people, she said, receive occasional jobs. She estimated that the unemployment rolls would reach a peak of 55,000 by the end of the year.
