Israeli Labor Party leader Amram Mitzna traveled to London on Thursday for talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Mitzna, who advocates talks with Palestinians without setting preconditions, shifted somewhat rightward on Wednesday, telling students that Yasser Arafat is indeed “irrelevant,” but that Israel must speak with whatever leadership the Palestinians choose.
