The mayors of Tel Aviv, Petah Tiqva, Nathanya and other cities are seeking advice from the Foreign Ministry on whether to accept invitations, reported to be routine, to attend the seventh International Congress of Twin Cities in Leningrad as part of the Lenin centenary. The invitations, channeled through the Local Councils World Union, were signed by the mayor of Leningrad, Alexander Syzoff.
