The staff seven of whose members speak fluent Russian includes a number of distinguished Israelis. The military attache is Col. Yohanan Ratner, a former Hagarah commander, while the commercial attache is Moshe Bergerano, a leading Israeli citrus expert.
The new Israeli Legation’s headquarters which has a fully electrified kitchen end laundry will also serve as residence of the Israeli Minister. Numerous Israeli paintings have been brought here from Israel and will decorate the legation’s walls.
