Israeli naval units shelled a terrorist base on the Lebanese coast last night and returned safely to their bases, a military spokesman reported today. The target was identified as the regional headquarters of George Habash’s “Palestine Liberation Front” about seven miles north of Tripoli.

The attack was described as a follow-up to yesterday’s air raid on an El Fatah base north of Tyre.
