Israeli newspapers reflected the anger felt by the public following the weekend terror attacks. “We are at war,” said a banner headline in Yediot Achronot, accompanied by a photo spread of the victims of the weekend terror. Ma’ariv wrote in a front-page editorial that “Israel must embark on an offensive that will obliterate Palestinian terror” and added that “Arafat must pay a personal price.”
