Israeli officials are slated to visit Washington seeking aid for regions expected to absorb evacuated settlers. Dov Weisglass, an adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and Joseph Bachar, an official with Israel’s Finance Ministry, are expected to ask for U.S. help with projects in the Galilee and Negev regions.
