Israeli officials have refused to comment on a German media report that Mossad agents were involved in efforts to obtain classified information from a German weapons company. A spokesman for the federal prosecutor in Germany would not confirm allegations of Israeli involvement, but told the Focus news magazine that an effort was being made to verify whether three suspects in the case had contacts with sources outside of Germany.
