Plans for the admission into this country for treatment at the Denver Sanatorium of Israeli citizens afflicted with tuberculosis were announced today by the Jewish Consumptives’ Relief Society which operates the sanatorium.
The plans are being formulated in conjunction with the HIAS. The first group is expected to arrive in the United States in the near future. The cost of transporting the patients will be absorbed by the HIAS, while caring for them will be the responsibility of the Jewish Consumptives’ Relief Society.
