Israeli police questioned a Jerusalem contractor, his wife and daughter for seven hours Tuesday regarding three years of work the contractor carried out in the home of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The work was billed to the Prime Minister’s Office shortly after Netanyahu was defeated in last May’s elections. Police are probing whether Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, tried to have private work paid for with public money and whether the contractor expected political favors in exchange.
