Israeli President Moshe Katsav called on Jews, Muslims and Christians to fight terrorism. In his address to the opening plenary of the Jewish federation system’s General Assembly, Katsav said there is a “direct connection between terrorism and anti-Semitism.” He added that “there is no conflict or struggle between Judaism and Islam. Judaism, Christianity and Islam should fight together against the terrorism and bloodshed.”
