Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is planning to scale back his visit to the United States next week because of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian violence. Sharon told reporters Tuesday that he is cutting out a planned stopover in New York, where he was supposed to meet Jewish leaders.
