Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said he is prepared to release more Palestinians jailed for deadly attacks. If Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip this summer goes smoothly, more prisoners who have killed Israelis will go free as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Sharon told Ha’aretz on Thursday.
