Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon vowed to get Israeli Cabinet approval for his Gaza withdrawal plan. “The plan will be passed on Sunday. Period,” Sharon told reporters Wednesday, referring to the next meeting of Cabinet ministers. This week’s Cabinet session adjourned amid opposition led by Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the scope and schedule of the proposed removal of all 21 settlements in Gaza and four in the West Bank.
