Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu led an annual march in Poland to commemorate the 6 million who died in the Holocaust. The March of the Living came on Holocaust Remembrance Day. In Israel, the day focused on contributions made by Holocaust survivors to the State of Israel. Meanwhile, Berlin’s Jewish community marked the day by reading aloud the names of the city’s 55,000 Jewish victims of the Nazis.
