Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is expected to discuss his hopes for ending the violence in the Middle East when he addresses the annual General Assembly of U.S. Jewish leaders in Chicago on Monday night. The two gave no indication after their two-hour meeting that they had found a way to halt the bloodshed.
