Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak’s security adviser secretly toured Persian Gulf states to muster support for Israel’s position at the failed Camp David summit, according to the Israeli daily Ma’ariv. The paper said that Danny Yatom traveled to Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and possibly Yemen last weekend. A spokeswoman for Barak refused to comment on the report.
