Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ehud Barak said Wednesday that he plans to head the Defense Ministry during the first two years of his term and then re- evaluate the decision. He told the Israeli daily Ha’aretz he was doing so “in order to ensure coordination” of the security and diplomatic issues in the peace process.
