Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ehud Barak will announce his government on Friday, a Barak spokesman said. In an effort to create what some of his aides are calling a “peace coalition,” Barak held negotiations Tuesday with the Center Party, the predominantly Sephardi Shas Party and the fervently Orthodox United Torah Judaism bloc. Barak has until July 8 to present his government for Knesset approval.
