A wide-ranging display of Israeli products at the United States World Trade Fair in New York’s Coliseum is attracting widespread attention and comment both from the general public and business visitors, officials reported today.
In addition to a National Pavilion, Israel has booths showing building and industrial goods, wearing apparel, foods and beverages and arts and crafts. Public interest has been particularly strong in Israel hand-crafted products, officials said. Among the Israeli products shown for the first time to Americans are chemicals, pharmaceuticals, a fine Israeli champagne, shoes and mosaics. The Fair closes April 27.
