Israeli public sector workers observed a one-hour strike to protest proposed tax reforms. The Histadrut Labor Federation said the strike affected the phone company, airports, hospitals and trains. The group was protesting elements of a tax reform package that would gradually decrease income tax while introducing taxes on capital gains and savings.
