The Palestinian terrorists are on the run in the Gaza Strip and in Lebanon. In the Strip, Israeli security forces are successfully chasing them from their lairs, and in Lebanon, their activities are being curtailed both by the Israelis, who have a number of times (most recently Monday) followed there across the border and stifled their operations, and by the Beirut government, which has allowed the terrorists to camp in the Arkoub area in the southeast but has acted to stamp out their across-the-border attacks. Incidents still occur, however. In the Strip today, a local truck driver was injured when his vehicle went off the road south of Gaza and hit a concealed mine.
