Israeli security forces thwarted an attempted car bombing in the center of Tel Aviv, Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer said. Speaking Monday before a Knesset committee about the planned attack a day earlier, Ben-Eliezer said the Palestinian Authority is not fighting terrorism seriously.
