Israeli security forces tore down the homes of two alleged terrorist leaders. Troops demolished the home of Hamas member Nasser Assida, who is believed to have been behind the July 16 ambush of a bus near the settlement of Immanuel in which nine people were killed. They also tore down the home of Ali Ajouri, who allegedly dispatched the two suicide bombers who killed three people in a July 17 attack in Tel Aviv.
