Israeli Textiles Exported to U.S. Exempt from 10 Percent Surcharge

Israeli textiles exported to the U.S. have been exempted from the 10 percent import surcharge announced by Pres. Nixon on Aug. 15, the U.S. Embassy informed the Export Institute here today. According to the Embassy, all exports to the U.S. covered by import agreements, which includes textiles, are exempt.
