Tourism to Israel declined 13 percent in the first nine months of 1988, compared to the same period of the previous year, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported Thursday.
It has increased slightly in the past three months, compared to the April-July level, but is still running 20 percent below the same three-month period of 1987.
About 80,000 tourists visited Israel in September.
