Rumania has become a favorite attraction for Israeli tourists. About 16,000 Israelis visited that country last year and 20,000 are expected to go there this year. These numbers constitute a significant percentage of Rumania’s tourists from the Western world, a representative of the Rumanian Tourist Office here said last night. One of the major attractions is a cheap package deal that includes transportation and accommodations in Rumania for Israelis vacationing there.
