Israeli troops killed a Palestinian gunman during a West Bank raid. Commandos swooped on Yamoun village near Jenin on Wednesday, detaining a wanted Islamic Jihad terrorist. Coming under fire from local gunmen, the troops shot back, killing a member of the Al-Aksa Brigade. There were no Israeli casualties.
