Israeli troops opened fire across the border with Lebanon and wounded four Jordanian citizens. Army officials said the soldiers fired warning shots in the air after the Jordanians tried to cross the border fence, and then fired at the men’s feet when they did not stop. The Jordanians were among a group of representatives of professional associations who had come to show their solidarity with Lebanon following the recent Israeli troop withdrawal.
