Israeli troops prevented the smuggling of drugs from Lebanon into Israel.
The soldiers on Monday spotted two people throwing packages from the Lebanese side of the border to the Israeli side in the upper Galilee.
A man on the Israeli side was detained and found to have more than 48 pounds of cocaine and heroin in a bag, Israeli media reported.
The man is in police custody. The border was not infiltrated, according to the army.
