Mexican industrialists have entered an agreement with an Israeli firm at Haifa, whereby Israel will furnish automotive parts for a truck assembly plant to be erected in this country, it was announced here today.
Under the pact, 60 percent of the truck parts to be used by the new assembly plant will be shipped by the Haifa firm. A group of Israeli technicians is expected to arrive here soon to instruct the Mexican workers in the use of the Israeli materials.
The agreement is the second automotive pact between Mexican industrialists and Israelis; Recently, a plant was opened at Tijuana for assembly of the Israeli “Sabra,” a compact automobile made in Israel.
