Israeli residents will get increased food rations for the forthcoming Jewish holidays, it was announced here last night by Dr. Dov Joseph, Minister of Trade and Industry, who is in charge of food distribution.
The Minister said in his broadcast that food reserves in Israel today are greater than ever before. He stated that an extra ration of one-third of a pound of frozen meat and one-fifth of a pound of fat will be distributed for Rosh Hashanah.
