Agricultural production in Israel jumped 400 percent in the first ten years of statehood, with a total expenditure on farm settlement and water resources development of 1,500,000,000 pounds, it was reported today.
The data were disclosed by a survey carried out by a public advisory committee on agricultural affairs, which reported that farm production per capita was doubled in that decade.
