Israel’s air force grounded some of its F-16 fighter jets following recent accidents in Israel and the United States caused by engine trouble. During the past six months, F-16s have been involved in five accidents in the United States, and two in Israel. In the most recent incident, an Israeli pilot and navigator were forced to eject during a training flight Sunday because of engine trouble.
