Israel’s ambassador to Egypt criticized a journalism union for awarding its top prize to a columnist who extolled Hitler’s slaughter of Jews. Ahmed Ragab, a columnist for the Egyptian daily Al-Akbar, recently wrote an article praising “the late Hitler, who took revenge in advance on behalf of the Palestinians.”
