Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations accused the U.N. Security Council of hypocrisy. Dan Gillerman made the charge Monday as the council discussed a resolution that would demand that Israel refrain from killing Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat. “The council’s focus should be directed first and foremost at terrorism and at its facilitators, and not at the response to terrorism,” Gillerman said.
