Israel’s Anna Shmashnova won her second straight tennis title in two weeks. Shmashnova defeated Thailand’s Tamarine Tanasugarn 7-5, 7-6 in the final last Friday of the Canberra Women’s Classic. The victory came directly on the heels of her win of a title in New Zealand. Shmashnova returns to the court Monday for the first round of the Australian Open.
